A
seasoned PR and Marketing professional, Jeremy
Milner brings a strong background of building
and maintaining number one brands for financial
services, healthcare, higher-education and non-profit
clients.
With
a strong political background, Jeremy has translated
his success on the campaign trail to help create
and implement strategic public relations and marketing
campaigns for start-ups, well-established brands
and government agencies.
Following
several years of political consulting for a variety
of causes and candidates, Jeremy spent four years
as the Deputy Director of Communications for the
Massachusetts Department of Social Services (DSS),
the state’s child welfare agency. As a spokesperson,
Jeremy was responsible for dealing with ongoing
promotion of the department’s programming
success as well as regularly dealing with crisis
situations. Jeremy also managed the department’s
outreach for the recruitment and retention of
foster and adoptive parents.
After
leaving DSS, Jeremy spent several years in New
York City with Blasé & Associates,
a boutique financial services consulting firm. With
clients including Evergreen, Federated, Lord Abbott
and others, Jeremy oversaw the day-to-day implementation
of strategic media relations programs for some
of the largest mutual fund families in the country.
Meeting with broadcast, print and internet media
on a daily basis, Jeremy remains well connected
in the world of reporters and editors at major
media outlets and key industry trade publications.
From
New York, Jeremy was recruited to Arnold Worldwide
in Boston, now part of the Paris-based Havas Group,
one of the top-ten communications organizations
in the world. As part of the management team for
the financial services PR practice, Jeremy oversaw
staff dedicated to the strategic planning and
execution for clients including PNC Financial,
Brown Brothers Harriman and TA Associates. Jeremy
was also part of Arnold PR’s new business
team.
Striking
out on his own in 2003, Jeremy has worked with
a variety of clients, including CVS/pharmacy,
Bearing Point, Boston University,
Safety 1st, Haverford College, Care New England Health System, Landmark Healthcare,
Lifespan Healthcare, MedTouch, PNC Financial,
Roger Williams University, Rehabilitation Hospital
of Rhode Island, Revolution Partners and the Rhode Island Department
of Economic Development.
